Residents cite high river levels and parking problems; officer says about 15 tickets issued

Witten also described heavy parking near Columbia Crossing, including vehicles and a boat trailer blocking roads, and asked about the status of an East End residents meeting and a contract for ground work.
Officer Mike (last name not specified) responded that borough officers and staff are “making a concerted effort to issue tickets. We have issued tickets to about 15, so far.” Witten also reported two property owners on South Thirteenth Street between Manor and Franklin had installed bollards that narrowed the roadway.
Staff members present said a manager's office was tasked with organizing resident outreach about the East End work and that firm start dates and a contract (ground movement / site work) would clarify timing for resident meetings. No formal council vote or new ordinance was taken during the discussion.
