Glades County lifts countywide burn ban as weather conditions improve

The board adopted Glades County Resolution 2025‑09 (rescinding the previous burn ban resolution), and the vote was recorded as unanimous.
Staff noted the resolution includes standard provisions for enforcement, construction of the resolution and an effective date. Commissioners asked a clarifying question during the reading of the resolution, and the motion passed on a recorded vote of five in favor and none opposed.
No immediate additional actions were scheduled beyond the administrative implementation of the resolution and public notice.
