Public hearing set June 17 on state‑funded drainage work in Bostwick area

Staff said those measures respond to flooding observed during the last hurricane season and follow a county engineering study of problem locations.
Commissioners asked staff to circulate the public‑hearing details to residents. The board instructed staff to post and publish meeting notices and to bring the matter back for formal consideration after the public hearing.
Staff emphasized the project will be subject to further design, permitting and public comment before construction begins.
