Under the state Community Preservation Act, the CPC must reserve 10 percent of annual receipts each for affordable housing, historic preservation, and open space and recreation; up to 5 percent may be used for administration.
The committee recommended funding scores of individual projects drawn from historic, housing and open space categories. Major recommended awards included:
