MISD board sets public meeting date and authorizes proposed tax-rate notice ahead of June budget vote

The McAllen Independent School District board voted Tuesday to set the public meeting date and approve a proposed tax rate for the notice required under state law, with the final budget and tax-rate approval scheduled for the board's June 24 meeting.
