Columbia County IT asks to authorize Microsoft and Tyler Munis payments and realignment of contract year

Columbia County information-technology staff asked the committee on June 10 to authorize multiple software payments and a contract amendment to align renewal schedules with the county fiscal year.
IT presented a Microsoft enterprise subscription payment of $376,954.52 for operating-system, Office and cloud services; staff said the amount is due in July and will be paid from next year’s operating budget. IT also asked to authorize an interim payment to Tyler Technologies (Munis) for $149,195.70 to cover the April–June renewal period and to amend the Munis contract so future renewals align with the July–June fiscal cycle. Finally, staff requested authorization for the FY2026 Munis payment of $596,782.78 for hosting, support and maintenance.
IT staff said Munis is a long-lived enterprise resource planning platform, now hosted, and that the hosted model includes regular updates and disaster recovery. The committee received the request and moved the authorizations to consent for final approval and payment scheduling.
