City staff announced a public-facing transparency portal for the city’s Flock camera system and said the portal will be accessible from the police department section of the city website.
A staff member said she has prepared screenshots, shared the link with staff (including Jen), and will work with the chamber and the city’s site managers to place the portal where the public can access it. "It will show you anybody in the public will have access," the staff member said; she asked councilors to look for a test link labeled "test for new transparency portal." Councilors thanked staff for delivering the portal and described it as "promise made, promise kept."
Staff did not provide a launch date at the meeting but said the portal was ready for testing and that they would email the link to the mayor and city staff.
