Woodbury ZBA continues Woodview Heights subdivision hearing to February for more board members' presence

The Village of Woodbury Zoning Board of Appeals continued a public hearing on a proposal to subdivide a parcel on Hill Avenue into 13 lots, giving the applicant time to have all board members present for the conclusion of the matter.
At the January 2025 meeting, the board noted the applicant is proposing lot sizes between about 15,566 and 43,833 square feet in an R‑1A zoning district, where the minimum lot area in the board’s materials is listed as 43,560 square feet per lot. The matter was continued to the board’s next regular meeting on February 12, 2025.
The board also noted that the subdivision will require environmental review under the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and that SEQRA review rests with the Village of Woodbury Planning Board (a coordinated review may be required by that body). No members of the public spoke at the hearing on the subdivision before it was continued.
The continuation preserves the applicant’s opportunity to present additional materials and ensures fuller board participation at the conclusion of the public hearing.
