Judge McDaniel said Harrington has "made a lot of progress" and that additional policies and procedures, including items related to the Americans with Disabilities Act, will be brought to the court soon. Harrington confirmed she will bring policies and procedures "here shortly," according to the record.
The appointment makes Harrington the county's point of contact for Title VI compliance related to the TxDOT grant and signals the county's ongoing work to satisfy federal and state grant requirements.
The motion passed without recorded opposition.
