The reappointment of Robert Hartley was removed from the reappointment list during the agenda review because, as staff explained, his paperwork had not been completed and he “is not on anything at this point.” The board removed his name from the reappointment list rather than act on it.
During public comments at the end of the meeting, several audience members thanked district staff for coordinating farewell videos and a time capsule for Melrose and 5 Points schools. One commenter singled out Diana Swisher for coordinating the videos; another speaker, identified in the record as Waylon, was greeted by board members. The superintendent thanked those who attended and closed the meeting.
