Pueblo County begins Workday financial reporting training for departments

Pueblo County staff told the Board of County Commissioners on June 10 that departments will begin receiving training on Workday financial reporting, including a report similar to the percent-spent report from the county's previous software.
County Manager Genesio said most general-fund departments are producing accurate, easy-to-understand numbers in the new report format. She said the county will share training access with elected officials and that credential or delegation changes may be required so users can run reports. Genesio noted a few areas with complex funding or many grants may need additional attention.
Genesio said she has already run several budget reports and is pleased with the results; staff will continue rollout and provide further updates at the next meeting. No formal decisions were required; this was an operational update to the board.
