Pueblo County says Bridal of Honor Boulevard remains on schedule and slightly under budget as construction advances

Greg George, director overseeing the project, told commissioners the construction contract line is $33,400,000 and the project total budget is $39,900,000, with the project currently under budget by $78,851.93. Paid-to-date figures shown to the board were $20,561,048.77, which the county described as 61.5% of total budgeted expenditures; construction progress reported was about 59.9% complete.
The county provided a detailed status update on major work areas: earthwork about 90% complete, aggregate base course about 75% complete, asphalt paving roughly 40% complete and detention pond work at about 95% with only punch-list items remaining. The county said a…
