Montezuma County commissioners on June 10 authorized the county to sign a master service agreement with EagleView to perform an aerial pictometry flyover for the assessor’s office.
Staff told the board the contract language had been reviewed to comply with government budgeting laws and that sufficient capital funds were available to cover the county’s portion. The assessor’s office and administration said updated imagery will help identify structures and properties that should be on the tax roll.
A staff member asked the board for authorization to sign the contract and proceed with a flyover; the board moved, seconded and approved the EagleView master service agreement. Staff said the vendor is ready to perform the flight once the county signs the agreement and allocates capital funding.
