County to review HVAC bids, EagleView flyover contract and several social-services policies at next meeting

Staff noted that one low bidder—Integrated Services—was based outside the county (Denver area), which could affect warranty response times and mobile service availability; other bidders were local.
EagleView flyover and software: Staff reported that EagleView is ready to fly the county and provide software; funding for the initial year is available in capital and budgeted in subsequent years. Staff said the vendor sent a contract revision appropriate for public entities and that the legal/administrative review produced a legally permissible contract; staff planned to send the contract for execution once the board approved.
Social-services policies and Equifax contract: Social-services staff presented a suite of policies (confidentiality/PII/PHI handling, falsification policy for caseworkers, nondiscrimination policy required by a grant) and asked commissioners for signature pages for the policies. Staff also described a renewal with Equifax for employment/earnings verification services: the contract requires a minimum of 11,113 “hits” over the fiscal year (last year the county had about 11,800 hits) and staff said a billing credit of $26,940 would carry forward due to prior double billing; staff expects to meet the usage threshold.
Anschutz grant request: Social-services staff said they plan to apply for a $10,000 Anschutz Foundation basic-needs grant for seniors; no match is required and the application is due July 3.
