A staff member briefed the board on the coalition request and noted county counsel had previously outlined the issue in a workshop. One commissioner moved and seconded a motion to allocate $10,000 to the coalition effort; the motion passed on a voice vote.
The board recorded the pledge and authorized staff to advance additional funds if required. Commissioners described the rulemaking as “getting pushed by CDPHE pretty hard and fast,” urging a timely response.
