Board approves roughly $5.46 million in federal budgets for FY26, including $1.6 million in Title I

The Robertson County School Board on June 9 approved consolidated federal funding allocations for fiscal year 2026, including Title I and IDEA budgets the district included in its packet.
A district presenter read the rough allocations from the packet: a consolidated allocation of about $296,000; Title I at $1,600,000; two Title III allocations at $404,000 and $165,000; IDEA (special education) at $2,900,000; and a preschool allocation of roughly $90,000. Taken together, the amounts read aloud total approximately $5.46 million.
The presenter said federal program staff and special-education and CTE staff will manage the detailed budgets and asked that the board approve the budgets as an entire package. "As you know, that's, flow in money from the federal programs, our various CTE, special education, and federal programming staff manage those budgets, and so we would ask for approval of each 1 of those budgets and what they represent," the presenter said.
A motion to approve the consolidated federal budgets was made and the board voted to approve the package by a 4–0 vote.
The approval authorizes district staff to finalize the detailed budget documents consistent with the packet and to proceed with program management and reporting required by federal grant rules. The meeting record does not show any changes to the amounts at the June 9 vote; the presenter noted detailed budgets accompany each allocation in the packet.
