The St. Charles CUSD 303 board on June 9 approved Synergy by Edupoint as the district's new student information system, a change staff described as "transformational" and slated for an official 2026-27 launch with front-end preparation and a soft launch the prior spring.
Mrs. Fairgrieve summarized the business services committee review, noting the recommendation came from the committee and that implementation work will begin before the official launch. "A student information system recommendation that really will be transformational for our district... will be launching in the '26, '27 school year officially, but there will be a lot of work on the front end with the soft launch next spring," she said.
The motion to approve Synergy passed with six yes votes and one abstention. Board members discussed implementation timelines in committee and the board noted the item had been vetted at the Business Services Committee and included as part of the consent/action agenda.
