Director Cochran told the Committee of the Whole on June 10 that three supervisors of Community Facilities District (CFD) No. 2014-1 require council reapproval.
The CFD chair, speaking during the FAC meeting, said the appointments are likely to be short-term because the district is “likely headed toward a dissolution as its work is wrapping up.” The chair asked that the council avoid inadvertently creating a vacancy during that transition.
Cochran offered to bring the request to the FAC agenda for approval to move the appointments to the full-council consent calendar or to place the item directly on the consent agenda in July. No council members objected to putting the reappointments on consent at the next council meeting.
No formal vote was recorded during the FAC discussion. The item will proceed to the consent agenda as requested and staff will return with the standard paperwork for council reapproval.
