Laura (Staff member, Planning Department) reminded commissioners they previously approved the project in March and described refinements in color placement, a 4‑inch wall projection to add articulation, lowered parapet heights (about 2 feet reduction), and the addition of downspouts as an architectural element. Architect Doug Carrithers said the design was simplified to use a single downspout between two windows on the south elevation instead of three, and that rooftop mechanical units would be fully screened.
Commissioners complimented the revised delineation between building sections and the enhanced entrance articulation. A motion to approve the building-elevation modifications, with the adjustment to the number and location of the downspouts as presented, passed unanimously.
