Weber County approves purchase orders, warrants and local transportation agreements totaling about $3.39 million

Weber County commissioners approved consent items on June 10 covering purchase orders, warrants and several interlocal agreements.
County staff reported 11 purchase orders totaling $598,330.13. Major allocations included $170,000 (about 28%) for road department chip-and-tack oil ordered under a prior bid; $166,000 (about 28%) for capital improvements at the county ice sheet for LED, sound and furniture; $151,000 (about 25%) for the fleet department for truck-beds and connections; and $88,000 (about 15%) for engineering tied to a storm-drain connection at the Eden Fire Station.
The warrant summary listed 187 warrants totaling $2,792,349.73. The largest single payout was $1,900,000 to Ogden City for Twentieth Street road construction; staff said those funds were paid with transportation tax dollars. Other top vendor payouts were Anderson Asphalt LLC ($133,000), ProEdge Technology LLC ($80,000), Resolution AV LLC ($55,000) and Premier Vehicle Installation ($47,000).
The consent calendar also included contract renewals and local-transportation funding agreements: renewal of a contract with Multi-County Appraisal Trust (MCAT) for assistance developing a statewide personal-property tax system; a local-transportation funding agreement with South Ogden City for the Fortieth Street project phase 2; a local-transportation funding agreement with North Ogden City for the Mountain Road Corridor Preservation Project; and a consultant agreement with Wasatch Front Regional Council to hire Avenue Consultants on the Three Gates Trail project.
Commissioners approved the consent calendar by motion and voice vote; no items were pulled for separate discussion.
