- Minutes: The council approved minutes for May 27 and June 3 (motion moved and adopted; vote recorded as 'Aye').
- Adoption of agenda: Council adopted the meeting agenda (motion moved and adopted).
- Appeals / Noise permits: Council granted multiple requests for waivers of the noise ordinance for various dates and parks; the request for a noise waiver at Lincoln Park on Sept. 27 was laid over for one week because of a potential dredging conflict.

- Appointments and election administration: The council confirmed the appointment of Ken Qualheim to the Mobile Housing Authority Board and approved steps and staffing for the 2025 municipal election, including appointment of Lisa Lambert as chief election officer and absentee election manager.
- Other administrative approvals: The council approved purchase orders, job training agreements, and several appropriations and special-payment items listed on the consent docket.
