Commissioner Josh Rogers on Thursday presented a resolution to rezone property at 4152 Spring Place Road (tax map 081Parcel016.07) from a forestry/agricultural residential district to a C-2 general commercial district for proposed use as RV, boat and trailer storage and multiple warehouses.
Rogers told the Bradley County Board of Commissioners the zoning change was passed unanimously by the Bradley County Regional Planning Commission and asked that the rezoning be placed on next week’s voting-session agenda. “If the proposed use is, it's a RV boat trailer storage, many warehouses,” Rogers said.
A county staff member identified as Bentley was present for questions, and Rogers asked that the formal vote be scheduled for the next meeting so commissioners could review the planning commission record and staff materials. No vote on the rezoning occurred Thursday; the item was scheduled for a formal vote at the following meeting.
