One board member recommended the policy specify elementary library/technology courses, with any secondary distinctions described in procedures rather than in policy. Staff said they would bring back revised language that either narrows the policy to elementary programs or moves level‑specific staffing details to the administrative procedure.
No formal board vote occurred; staff will return with revised policy or procedure language for further board consideration.
