The Kodiak Island Borough Assembly voted unanimously June 5 to notify the Alaska Alcohol and Marijuana Control Office (AMCO) that it will not protest a transfer of ownership for a beverage dispensary license held by Rendezvous Incorporated.
Clerk staff reported the clerk’s office reviewed the transfer application and that public-notice outreach included 51 mailed notices; the clerk said staff received one written comment in support of the transfer and no departmental protests.
Assembly member Jared moved that the borough voice non-protest to AMCO for the transfer of license number 2639 from Rendezvous Incorporated to Rendezvous Roadhouse LLC and direct the clerk to notify AMCO of the decision. The motion passed unanimously by roll-call vote.
No in-room testimony or phone calls were received during the borough public hearing on the transfer, and staff had no outstanding issues to report to the assembly.
