Okaloosa board approves human-resources recommendations, adds reinstatement reimbursement item and deletes employee-termination item

The Okaloosa County School Board approved multiple superintendent human-resources recommendations and processed an agenda change to remove a proposed employee termination item.

At the start of the meeting the board noted an agenda change: "Superintendent's human resources recommendations deleted item 8.7 employee termination at the request of Dr. Hale, assistant superintendent human resources, and added item 8.9 reinstatement reimbursement of sick leave due to line of duty illness, injury, and medical examination," the chair said. A motion to accept the agenda change was moved and seconded and carried 5-0.
