John Spolsky, assistant superintendent for MIS and community relations, presented the revision as recommended by the superintendent. Spolsky asked whether anyone wished to speak; no one did.
"Our wordsmith," a board member said in reference to the attorney’s assistance with the wording. The motion to approve the revision was made by Ms. Steinle and seconded by Ms. Ivancak. The board voted unanimously; the chair announced, "Aye. Motion carries 5 to 0."
The board closed the public hearing and reconvened the regular meeting. No changes to the approved motion or further directions to staff were recorded in the meeting transcript.
