During the roll call several members recorded ‘‘aye’’ including Delegate Joe McNamara, Delegate Dan Helmer, Senator Cree Deeds, Senator Jeremy McPike, Senator Bagby and Senator Servile; the chair also recorded an ‘‘aye’’ and the motion passed.
The clerk recorded the roll call at the meeting as required by the updated statute; staff said they would post the adopted policy and record the vote in the minutes.
The action was procedural and does not change the commission’s substantive agenda; the revised rule governs how future meetings may be conducted and how remote members may participate and vote under the new state statute.
