The Fargo City Commission approved multiple liquor-license applications and ownership transfers during the May 27 meeting, acting on staff recommendations from liquor control.
City licensing staff member Steve Sprague presented the items. Applications approved included a transfer of a Class GH (beer and wine) license for Adobe Fusion Cuisine to allow the operator to use the license for catering; a Class W (wine) license for Q Nail and Spa at 1650 40 Fifth Street South, Suite 104; transfer of a Class AB license ownership for Bridal Bar at 2721 Main Avenue; transfer of a Class AB license for M and M Liquors doing business as Specs Bar at 2611 Main Avenue; approval of a Class GH license for Tropical Spice Caribbean Cuisine at 3132 Broadway North; and a transfer of a Class FA license from Cairo Restaurant and Bar to Bar 209 Fargo Limited at 378850 Fifth Avenue South.
Sprague said background checks were completed for each application and each came to the commission with a recommendation of approval from liquor control. Public hearings for these items were held consecutively; in each case no members of the public spoke and commission roll-call votes recorded approval.
No substantive conditions or denials were announced on the record for these items.
