Council Adopts Multiple ODOT Local-Let Agreements; Roundabout Easement Affirmed

Ordinances adopted or read during the session included LPA agreements for the State Route 682/56 roundabout (ordinance 58-25), rehabilitation of Stimson Avenue (ordinance 59-25), the Columbus Road shared-use path (ordinance 60-25), ADA curb ramp upgrades (ordinance 61-25), and East State Street signal improvements (ordinance 62-25). Council members read or moved to adopt each ordinance and approved them by voice vote; the transcript records unanimous 'ayes' for the motions.
Separately, the council read and affirmed an easement from the State of Ohio that grants the city the right to install and maintain the roundabout associated with the State Route 682/56 project (ordinance 69-25 as read). Committee discussion earlier described that the roundabout construction requires the state's property interest to be used by ODOT for the roundabout and that the city must have formal easement language in place to permit construction and future maintenance.
Council members raised no formal objections during the session; several members stated the projects were needed and urged timely implementation. The ordinances were read for adoption and the council recorded voice votes in favor of each measure.
