The Kitsap County Planning Commission voted to approve findings of fact for the 2025 administrative code edits during its May 20 meeting.
The planning commission’s long‑range planning supervisor, Colin Poff, summarized the edits as “more minor miscellaneous edits” to Title 16 (land division) and Title 17 (zoning) and reviewed the public outreach, briefings, work studies and prior deliberations that informed the draft findings of fact. He said the findings document includes a deliberations table that records motions and the commission’s recommendations.
Commissioner Adrian Hampton moved to approve the findings of fact for the 2025 administrative code edits, the motion was put to a voice/hand vote and passed. The commission’s approval records that the edits are recommended as presented by staff and as amended by the planning commission during prior deliberations. No roll‑call vote was recorded in the meeting transcript.
The commission did not identify additional follow‑up actions during the vote; staff indicated any motions made during deliberations are captured in the findings document and attached deliberations table.
