Ozark tabled first reading of Stockton Lake storage space agreement

Public Works Director Jeremy Parson introduced the item and said staff and longtime project advocate Rodney (Roddy) had prepared a complex explanation on an agreement they have discussed for many years; Parson described the project as “time to make a decision” but did not seek final action at first reading. Rodney attended to assist with the technical presentation but aldermen chose to hold the bill over for a subsequent meeting. No public speakers appeared for or against the ordinance during the first‑reading public comment period.
Because this was a first reading, the Board did not vote on the contract that night and directed the item remain on a future agenda for additional review and possible action.
