Teachers, parents and union demand guaranteed extracurricular funding across MPS

Ingrid Walker Henry, president of the Milwaukee Teachers' Education Association (MTEA), told the committee MTEA and the district had reached an agreement in a prior meet-and-confer that would restore extracurriculars; she said the current administration "will not include any budget toward extracurricular programming in her 20 25, 'twenty 6 budget."
