Laconia board accepts principal resignation; moves to install Amy Hines as interim superintendent

The Laconia School Board on June 3 accepted the immediate resignation of Principal Bob Champlin and moved to appoint Amy Hines as interim superintendent effective immediately through June 30, 2026.

The resignation of Bob Champlin was accepted by a board vote recorded in the meeting as “carried seven-zero.” Following a nonpublic session under RSA 91-A:3 (personnel), a motion was made to appoint Amy Hines as interim superintendent effective June 3, 2025, through June 30, 2026.
