The Oneida Special School District Board of Education approved the district’s FY2026 consolidated funding application, which bundles federal program requests including Title I, Title II, Title IV and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
A staff presenter summarized the application for board members, saying Title I funds support instructional staff, Title II funds professional development, Title IV and elementary music programs were included, and IDEA covers federally funded special-education staff.
The board approved the application by roll call vote with Dorothy Watson, board member; Doctor Danny Cross, board member; and Doctor Nancy Williamson, board member each voting aye. The motion authorized submission of the consolidated application; staff will finalize paperwork with the state and federal agencies responsible for administering those programs.
No dollar totals or grant allocations were presented during the public portion of the meeting.
