Attorney John Kelty told the Planning Board June 5 that revised plans for the 60 Pulaski Street project were electronically filed that day to address reviewers’ concerns about truck turning radii and curb cut access.
Kelty said the revised plans demonstrate solutions to the turning radius issues in both northerly and southerly access points and that the northern (Danvers‑facing) entrance will serve as the primary access for large trucks, with the southerly entrance usable only by smaller passenger vehicles. He said the revised plans also moved landscaping and some parking to improve maneuverability.
City staff and the project’s peer traffic reviewer had previously flagged the access geometry as a concern. The board voted to continue the item to July 17 to allow the city peer reviewer and the Department of Public Services to review the plans filed that day and provide comment or an approval letter.
Kelty noted the northerly entrance requires sufficient radius for large trucks and that the applicant’s revisions reposition some parking and landscaping to create the needed clearance. The continuation was granted by roll call; the item will return when review comments are complete.
