Clearwater council adopts midyear amendments to operating and capital budgets

City staff member Randall Reedy summarized the ordinances and said the capital improvement budget reflected a net increase. Reedy read the ordinance title into the record: "an ordinance of the city of Clearwater, Florida amending the capital improvement budget for the fiscal year ending 09/30/2025 to reflect a budget increase of $2,067,389, providing an effective date."
Council moved, seconded and approved the budget amendments on vote without recorded opposition.
The ordinances adjust appropriations and provide authority for spending in the listed funds; staff said they would implement the changes and answer additional council questions as needed.
