Gardner City review committee flags road, emergency‑access and parking concerns for Harvard Classic Homes plan

The Gardner City Review Committee reviewed a conceptual site plan in June 2025 submitted on behalf of Harvard Classic Homes LLC for a roughly 89‑acre development that the applicant described as senior housing condominiums with a community center and five internal roads.

The proposal drew the committee’s most immediate concerns about roadway widths and emergency‑vehicle access, parking and the amount of wetlands on the site — issues the presenter said the applicant will address before filing for formal permits. Wesley Pluss, the McCarty Engineering representative who presented the plan, said the team will provide a turning‑movement sketch to demonstrate access for emergency vehicles.
