Palm Beach County ethics office reports expanded outreach and sets July meeting date

The Palm Beach County Commission on Ethics staff reported a busy month of outreach and training and announced that the commission's July meeting will take place July 10, 2025, the COE executive director said during the June 5 meeting.
The executive director told commissioners that staff provided ethics training in Boynton Beach during a Saturday retreat, and partnered with the county attorney's office to deliver joint ethics and sunshine law training for county commissioners and their staff. The director thanked staff by name: "I want to give a big thank you to Rhonda for giving up part of her Saturday to do that," the director said.
Commission staff also presented at municipal meetings in Highland Beach, Westlake, South Bay, North Palm Beach, Hypoluxo, Lantana, Jupiter and Boynton Beach, and participated in an outreach event with the Wellington Rotary Club. The director noted ongoing efforts to engage local officials and employees about the commission's mission.
The director also announced a scheduling note and a staff recognition: the commission's July meeting will be on the second Thursday in July (July 10, 2025), and staff member Gina will graduate with a master's degree in public administration from Nova Southeastern University the following day.
