The Warner Robins City Council approved a resolution authorizing Mayor La Rhonda W. Patrick to execute an amendment of solicitation and modification of contract between Robins Air Force Base, United States of America, and the City of Warner Robins to incorporate revised contract clauses recently issued via executive order.
Councilman Lawrence moved the resolution and the motion was seconded; the council voted to adopt the modification unanimously. Council discussion said the modifications are consistent with recent presidential executive orders and that the resolution authorizes the mayor to sign the revised contract documents.
The amendment updates contractual clauses to align city agreements with the federal revisions; the motion carried without further amendment and staff will file the signed modification with base contracting offices.
