Trustees who recorded an affirmative vote included Trustee Hernandez, Trustee Vallejo and Trustee Howe; the chair declared the motion carried.
The board clarified the vote applied only to the new positions and the HR items discussed in executive session, not to "everything else that was included in the binder," according to remarks recorded during the meeting. After the vote, school staff member Murillo thanked trustees for their support as the district prepares for the fall.
The board subsequently moved to adjourn; the motion to adjourn passed and the meeting was closed at 8:17 p.m.
