The notice inviting applications for Assistance Listing 84.325K was published in the Federal Register on May 27, 2025, and "All applications are due on 06/26/2025, no more no later than 11:59 and 59 seconds in the evening," Ahn said during the webinar, noting that the deadline is Eastern Time and that applicants should confirm the corresponding time in their time zone.
The grant competition, labeled the "3 to 5 Ks" priority during the presentation, makes $6,000,000 available and may fund up to 24 awards. Each award may not exceed $1,250,000 for a total project period of up to 60 months; the maximum award for a single 12‑month budget period is $350,000. OSEP allows applicants to use up to the first 12 months and up to $100,000 of the first budget period for planning.
