A separate but related priority is systematic restroom renovations. Presenters said most restrooms remain original to the construction dates of buildings; the committee rated restroom condition and usage and created tiered priorities for renovation sequencing.
The facilities report was presented alongside the district’s alternative funding work, which the board described as an effort to “leave no stone unturned” when seeking additional revenue and grants to support capital and program needs. The district also said it plans building-level needs surveys next school year to refine priorities and target funding.
