The Town of Prescott Valley heard a presentation June 5 on a draft five-year consolidated plan (2025'029) and an accompanying 2025 annual action plan for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The town's proposed 2025 allocation from HUD is $292,411, the consultant said.
The plan identifies priority needs and recommended goals that will guide annual funding decisions over the five-year period. Jennifer Alfa of TDA Consulting, the firm contracted to prepare the plan, told the council the plan combines national census and local data with outreach and stakeholder interviews and that the draft is open for a 30-day public comment period through June 18.
