District recommends LinkIt data warehouse and analytics platform; board committee approves funding plan

The EPR Committee reviewed proposals for a district data warehouse and analytics platform and heard staff recommend LinkIt as the best fit for ongoing student-data analytics and teacher dashboards.
Staff said LinkIt offers nightly secure FTP uploads, automatic pulls from IXL and Acadience, assessment‑creation tools for teachers, disaggregated dashboards for district, building and classroom levels, and comparative reports that draw on county and intermediate-unit peers. Staff presented an updated quote of about $55,000 and said the curricular budget for 2025–26 could be reconfigured to cover the cost without changing the proposed curriculum budget.
Committee members asked about overlap with Frontline (the district’s employee absence and HR platform), and staff explained that Frontline’s analytics option would require the district to push some data files, whereas LinkIt can naturally pull IXL and Acadience data and offers more automated plumbing at present. Staff said both LinkIt and Frontline can communicate with the SAFIRE student information system, but LinkIt has more prebuilt connectors to instructional platforms the district uses.
During the meeting the committee voted on a grouped motion (agenda items 5a–n) that included the staff recommendation to proceed with LinkIt; the motion passed on a voice vote. Staff said LinkIt would be assigned to district administrators and curriculum leaders to push appropriate dashboards to supervisors, building leaders and teachers.
