Committee accepts two state grants to support digital skills and services for deaf patrons

RS2025-1266 accepts a digital skills education and workforce development grant from the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development to provide broadband digital skills training and workforce development programs through the Nashville Public Library. RS2025-1267 accepts a grant from the Tennessee State Library and Archives to provide access to and circulation of special materials formatted for individuals who are hearing impaired, to provide programming for the deaf and hard of hearing, and to promote general support of library patrons who are orally challenged.
