The presenter said the city will begin detailed line-item budget analysis in August and will hold a budget work session before the next meeting.
Council did not take final action on the tax budget at first reading. The document was transmitted to council for review; staff said exhibits with detailed estimates are available and further deliberation will occur at the scheduled work session.
