Cody Byrd, the town’s planning director, told commissioners that the site is zoned C‑3 mixed‑use commercial and that the commission previously approved the site development plan and preliminary plat in October 2024 and the Board of Trustees heard the preliminary plat on Oct. 22, 2024.
