Berkeley County awards ground-maintenance contract for parks and waterways to C and D Property Management

An operations staff member said the contractor has performed well and cited the heavy mowing season in May as a cost driver for that month. The commission moved and seconded the contract approval and voted unanimously to award the work to C and D Property Management.
Next steps: Staff will finalize the contract paperwork and start the first-year term. The contract contains up-to-four option years, subject to annual approvals.
