City Manager Felicia told the council the revisions include updates to definitions, wage and pay plans, separation, grievances, types of leave, tuition reimbursement, general rules and regulations, conduct of employees, code of conduct, disciplinary measures and the drug and alcohol policy. Felicia said the updates will repeal previously adopted resolutions and that a red-line version and a summary table were included in the agenda packet.
Council members asked no substantive questions during the public discussion. The council voted to approve the resolution; the motion passed unanimously.
The resolution takes effect as provided in the document; staff recommended approval and will implement the changes through city administrative processes.
