The Village of Wheeling Board of Trustees on June 2 approved its consent agenda, enacting several routine purchases and a municipal-code amendment.
Items approved included a resolution authorizing the purchase of four new self-contained breathing apparatus devices and 10 bottles from Air 1 Equipment at a cost not to exceed $49,395; acceptance of a National Intergovernmental Purchasing Alliance contract with CDW Governmental LLC for Hewlett-Packard personal computers in the amount of $59,940.48; a consulting contract with Gault Hamilton and Associates Inc. for the Northeast Prairie Preserve bike-path project not to exceed $46,700; and a one-year extension of the fuel contract with L. Warren Oil Company Inc. in the amount of $270,000.
The board also approved an ordinance amending chapter 4.32 of the Village of Wheeling Municipal Code concerning alcoholic liquor dealers to decrease the authorized number of Class A and E licenses and increase the number of Class D licenses, as described in the agenda materials.
Trustees moved and seconded the consolidated consent motion; the roll call vote was unanimous among members present. No item was removed from the consent agenda for separate discussion.
